[8 February 2024] Liveness Detection SDK - Android v3.1.2 Update and Changes

We are pleased to announce our release of Liveness Detection (Mobile SDK) for Android - V3.1.2. Within this release, we have made several significant changes and updates:

Enhancement:
- Technical improvement on general processing time by up to 50%, from user's perspective:
  - Image/video uploading will be faster
  - Image/video quality will be higher
- Anti-spoofing model is upgraded with better performance considering FAR and FRR
  - FRR improved by 19.2%.
  - FAR improved by 22.6%.

*False Acceptance Rate (FAR): The False Acceptance Rate represents the probability of an impostor being incorrectly accepted by liveness detection. A lower FAR indicates a more secure service.

*False Rejection Rate (FRR): The False Rejection Rate represents the probability of a genuine user being incorrectly rejected by liveness detection. A lower FRR implies a higher level of usability, as it indicates a lower chance of genuine users being denied access.
